Psytrance on the beach of Gili Air, Lombok/Indonesia

Our bar is located on the Indonesian island Gili Air, next to Lombok (between Bali and Lombok). A small paradise without traffic, many palmtrees, sandy beaches and friendly locals!

Gili Air is not only a party location, or a place to pass into the next year in a psychedelic way. It is the perfect place to spend your holiday or relax in a hazzlefree atmosphere from your travel!

Along the sandy beaches you will find a couple of accommodation as well as restaurants and warungs.

How to get to Gili Air

First you need to get to Bali (e.g. fly to Denpasar/Bali).
From Bali there are different ways of getting to Gili Air.

One of those ways is to take a speed boat, which will bring you straight from Bali to Gili Air within a few hours. Check out google for the different offers of the speed boat companies (Gili Cat, Blue Water, Island Getaway ...). It is the most comfortable but also most expensive way of travelling to the island of Gili Air.

Another way of getting to Gili Air, is to take a domestic flight from Denpasar (Bali) to Matram Airport (Lombok). The flight from Bali to Lombok takes about 30 Minutes. From Mataram Airport go to Bangsal Harbour on Lombok (e.g. with PERAMA, Bemos or BlueBird Taxi). From Bangsal you can get to Gili Air with small boats ... for further information please click here.

One more way of coming over to Gili Air is to take the local ferry (leaves every hour) from Padangbai (Bali) to Lembar Harbour (Lombok). The lokal ferry takes about five hours. Arriving in Lembar, you can also take a taxi (Bemos, BlueBird Taxi or private driver) or bus to Bangsal Harbour (north-west of Lombok). At Bangsal you can find those small boats again, which will bring you over to Gili Air (20 Minutes). Going by the local ferry is low budget travelling - an experience, but is not the fastest way of travelling!
